After looking at the gold post box on Saturday we went to the nearest National Trust house, Coughton Court. We had lunch first, I had treacle tart!
We had a timed ticket for the house so we spent the few minutes between lunch and going in admiring the house and the pretty borders around the entrance.
I tried to make friends with a bee. There were lots of them and they were very busy.
After looking around the house we walked around the gardens. I found what looked like a Hobbit hole.
Then I found an interesting sculpture celebrating the Millennium.
We had a lovely afternoon, and it was nice to do something that had nothing to do with sport for a change.
